Volunteer Opportunities for Every Skill Set!

No matter what your passion is, there is a chance to put your skills to good use at Neighbors in Action! Volunteer on your own schedule as little or as often as you would like. Opportunities include, but are not limited to:

One-Time Volunteer Needs:

  • Transport 3 old TVs to the dump for a neighbor

  • Rake flower beds for a neighbor

Ongoing Volunteer Needs:

  • Adopt-a-Lawn - Mow a senior's lawn 

    • Approximately 1 hour every 1.5 weeks (flexible)

  • Transportation - Drive seniors to appointments and errands

    • As your schedule allows (Drive as often or as little as you would like)

  • Companionship - Visit with an individual

    • Regularly, as your schedule allows​

  • Handyperson - Assist with minor household repairs

    • Sporadically, as your schedule allows

  • Adopt-a-Driveway - Shovel snow for a senior

    • As the snow flies! (Usually 2-3 times per month)
