Neighbors in Action is here to assist you with both long-term and one-time service, providing excellent care to meet your needs.
Neighbors in Action provides a wide range of services to senior citizens, their families, and others who have a need because of a disability or long- or short-term circumstance. When you call our office our Executive Director or Director of Volunteers will meet with you to discuss your situation. They will suggest options that will help you get the care you need. Options include:
Basic outdoor services and transportation provided by our network of volunteers
If you need more care than our volunteers can provide, our Care Partners will help meet your service needs
Additional Service Options
Caregiver Coaching and Support - Providing care to a family member or friend can be overwhelming. Our trained caregiver coaches can help reduce stress by providing support, encouragement, and the resources needed to provide care.
Information and referrals for area services - Sometimes changes happen quickly and you don't know where to call for help. Neighbors in Action wants to provide the resources you need. If we can't meet your request we will help you find what you need and make referrals to make the process as easy as possible.
Home safety and care assessments - Falls are a major source of injury and cause many emergency room and nursing home visits for older people. Our staff can conduct an assessment and point out risk factors that could lead to a fall. We can also make suggestions for devices to make your home safer and more comfortable.
Other-call our friendly staff to see how we can help meet your needs or to find out more information about any of the services we offer.
Neighbors in Action services are available to all older people regardless of race, color, sex, religion, disability or national origin
